Fall 2020 Plant Sale
Orders Due Friday August 21, 2020 at 5:00PM
As temperatures cool, fall months are great for planting and establishing plants in your garden. It also gives us an opportunity to offer plants we normally don’t include in our spring plant sale. If you’re looking for plants for a specific purpose, we have created categories to help you plan and make choices, see the list below.
Ordering is on-line in advance of plant pick-up the second week of September. Primary days for pick-up are Friday and Saturday, September 11th and 12th.
How to Order
- Download the Plant List here
- Fill in your name, email and phone contact information, & whether or not you are a Friend of the Garden member (members receive a 10% discount)
- Look through the list. For more information on each of the plants, click on the link (highlighted in blue) associated with each plant.
- Make your selections by entering a quantity in the Quantity Requested column
- You may enter the Sub Total if you like or we can do it for you
- Save the file
- Send your saved file as an attachment in an email to llipsey@vt.edu
- We will confirm your order including the final payment amount along with a link to pay by credit card, or you are welcome to pay by check.
- If paying by check, To: Treasurer of VT, Mailed To: Hahn Garden, 200 Garden Lane, Blacksburg, VA 24060
You must pay upon receiving confirmation of your order so that we can then add your order to the master list
How to Pick-up Plants
- We will contact you about setting up a day & time for plant pick-up
- You will come to the Hahn Garden during your designated pick-up time and we will have your plants ready for us to load into your vehicle
- A map showing the pick-up location will be sent to you along with your order confirmation

Other Notes
- All plants are subject to availability at the time orders are placed.
- If a plant is not available, we will let you know and work with you on an appropriate substitute if desired.
- Friends of the Garden receive a 10% discount on all plant orders.
